Katana in Shirasaya with Late war Shin Gunto mounts Signed Bishu Osafune Kiyomitsu

A nice tidy sword in good polish.  This sword features in page 70 of the the Gregory and Fuller book – Military swords of imperial Japan.  It has a couple of ware as is common with swords of this age but nothing critical, comes in quality Shirasaya and well fitted late war Shin Gunto mounts.  This sword has prominent Funbari and measures 60 cm.
